Dulles and Eisenhower Address the Nation

On December 23, 1957, Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and President Eisenhower addressed the nation on television and radio.

In addition to discussing the NATO summit meeting in Paris, France, Dulles also emphasized that U.S.-Russian disarmament agreements must have principles and procedures that would guarantee truly mutual and equal disarmament.
