Aga Khan IV

Aga Khan IV, formerly Prince Karim, became the spiritual leader of 20,000,000 Ismaili Moslems upon the death of his grandfather, Aga Khan III, on July 12, 1957. At the time of his accession the Aga Khan was 20 years old and had just completed his junior year at Harvard University.

Prince Karim assumes the role of Aga Khan IV.
