1865, November 2 birthplace Born near Corsica, Ohio.
1876   Moved with family to Caledonia, Ohio.
1882   Graduated from Ohio Central College.
1884   Bought the Marion Star.
1890-1891 Built a house in Marion, Ohio.
1891, July 8   Married Florence King DeWolfe.
1898   Elected to the Ohio Senate.
1903   Elected Lieutenant Governor of Ohio.
1910   Lost the election for Governor of Ohio.
1912   Nominated William Howard Taft for a second term as President at the Republican National Convention.
1914   Elected to the U. S. Senate.
1916   Served as chairman of the Republican National Convention.
1920 Elected President of the United States.
1923, August 2   Died in San Francisco, California.
1931, June 16 The Harding Memorial was dedicated.
