Titicaca At 12,507 feet above sea level, Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world. It is also the largest lake by volume in South America, with a surface area of 3,232 square miles, a maximum length of 118 miles, maximum width of 50 miles, and average depth of 351 feet (maximum depth 922 feet). |
